Drum Corps Fleet
As drum corps travel the country each summer, their trailers and vehicles not only serve as transportation, but also as mobile billboards. In order to ensure their growth, success, and longevity as a group, their fleet must be a strong visual representation of their organization.
In the Crossmen concept, it was important to include their mascot, “Bones,” who is featured in the format of a large truck graphic, creating instant recognition and interest within the marching arts community. Their wordmark and “C” icon were also given a facelift, combining various fonts they’ve had in the past, while creating a more cohesive and professional package.
With the Troopers, their group is very heavily influenced by cowboys and other western motifs. When designing their fleet, it was important to honor their history, western theming, as well as their geographical origin. The Troopers’ previous trailer has photos of a mountain range from their hometown, so a mountain graphic was used on each vehicle.
